a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting one's feelings, thoughts, and bodily sensations, used as a therapeutic technique.
So what exactly is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is a type of meditation which is not connected to a religion or a cult. It is simply a meditation were you focus on being intensely aware of what you are sensing and feeling at the exact moment you are in, without interpretation or judgement.
A tool to help quiet our minds in our ever busy lives we all live, while staying focused and relaxed, by paying attention to our thoughts and sensations without judgement, keeping the mind in the present moment.
Practising mindfulness involves breathing techniques, guided imagery and even simple activities which let you live in the present. You probably already practise some sort of mindfulness without knowing or realising, is there a game on your phone you play, a walk you go on, something you already do to clear your mind.
There are multiple key components of mindfulness, lets start with three!
Intention to cultivate awareness
Attention to what is happing at the present moment
An attuite that's non-judgemental

Mindful Activities
Stone or rock building is something I personally enjoy, it requires patience while keeping your mind on the stones or your design, an added bonus is I do it outdoors and am lucky enough to live on the coast.
